On Sunday 15 April it’s the Derby 10K, this means that various roads across the City Centre will be closed between 8am-11am.

During the event there will be disruption and diversions to the following services:

1/1A
The 1 & 1A services will be unable to serve Derby Bus Station. Therefore a diversion will be in place for the duration of the event, the diversion will be as follows:

- All affected services will terminate at Derby Railway Station for the duration of the event. The bus will NOT be able to serve the bus station.

The service will resume its usual route once the event has finished. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Y1
Our Y1 service will
NOT be able to serve Corporation Street. As a result of this we will temporarily use Bay 1 in Derby Bus Station for all inbound and outbound trips during this time. The diversion route will be as follows:

- After Rollerworld the Y1 will NOT turn right onto Mansfield Road.

- It will then continue to the island and turn right to follow Sir Frank Whittle Road towards Pentagon Island.

- The service will follow Pentagon Island round, and enter the city centre over St Alkmunds Way continuing into Derby Bus Station and use Bay 1.

The service will resume its usual route once the event has finished. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Y5
Our Y5 service will NOT be able to serve Derwent Street, Derwent Bridge and the Morledge. Therefore a diversion will be in place for the duration of the event, the diversion will be as follows:

- From the Pentagon Island, the Y5 will enter the city centre over St Alkmunds Way continuing into Derby Bus Station.

The service will resume its usual route once the event has finished. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We also anticipate there may be some delays to our other services during this time. All routes will return to normal once the event has ended.
